We have so much great news to share about how our employees are giving back around the world....but first, we wanted to share a very special story with you.

TCF Grant Funds Organization in Mexico that Supports Children with Special Education Needs
When it comes to education, there is no “one size fits all” model. It varies based on a child’s age, learning style and, in the case of the children in programs at Dr. Sonrisas AC in Leon, Mexico, their health.  Dr. Sonrisas (Dr. “Smile”) is a non-profit organization that focuses on low-income children with chronic and terminal illness. Its mission is to change pain and suffering of children into moments of hope, fun and happiness, allowing them to further develop and have a purpose in life.

In addition, the organization offers a program that supports the special educational needs associated with disabilities such as mental retardation, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy. Teaching children with these disabilities requires special training to better understand and handle their unique learning styles as well as their physical and mental conditions. Funds provided by the TeleTech Community Foundation will go toward training and continuing education for current staff to enhance their skillset in these areas. They will also be used to help with medical and economic support for children enrolled in the program whose families are unable to cover the costs of treatment or even, in some cases, basic necessities such as food. 

 
 
Education comes in many forms. So does giving. We appreciate our TTEC employees in Leon, Mexico for making a meaningful difference in the lives of others in their community.

LATAM
• A Casinha De Sonhar (Osasco, Brazil)—Grant funds construction of a library and theater room for organization that offers artistic education for vulnerable children and women who have suffered physical and mental abuse.
• Canica (Guadalajara, Mexico)—Grant funds support for expenses (rent, light bill) for organization that gives kids with cancer the opportunity to complete elementary and middle school.
• Deseos Compartidos (Republica, Mexico)—Grant funds purchase of wheelchairs and supports performance costs for organization that grants wishes to children and teenagers with chronic or terminal illnesses.

EMEA
• High School of Mathematics "Konstantin Velichkov"  (Pazardzhik, Bulgaria)—Grant funds purchase of white board, projector, laptop, school supplies and materials for renovation of a Physics and Astronomy classroom for a school dedicated to qualifying students from 5th to 12th grade in fields such as Mathematics, Physics and Software Science.
• Center for Special Educational Support "Stefan Vasilev" (Svilengrad, Bulgaria)—Grant funds purchase of computer equipment for specialized rooms to provide training, therapeutic and rehabilitation activities for children with special educational needs.

North America
• Riverside High School (Jonesboro, AR)— Grant provides funding for STEM and Robotics curriculum and kits for school that has a high number of children at or below the poverty level.
• Colorado Center for the Blind (Englewood, CO-Corporate Office)— Grant funds four STEAM modules (STEM plus Arts) for organization that provides training, support and opportunities that help blind individuals lead independent lives.
• Write On Sports (Englewood, CO-Corporate Office)—Grant provides funding for a literacy program designed to inspire under-served middle school students to become better writers by teaching them to write about something they love -- sports!
• Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado (Englewood, CO-Corporate Office)— Grant supports expansion of a technology-enhanced, one-to-one mentoring program that prepares high school students in low-income communities for post-secondary education.
• Lost-n-Found Youth (Duluth, GA)— Grant funds the J-READY project, which supplies test fees, books, instructional supplies and meals for homeless LGBTQ+ youth.
• Mosaic Georgia, Inc. (Duluth, GA)— Grant funds the Comfort Bag project in which items such as toys, blankets and journals are handed to each child who leaves the community-based sexual assault center to show that the community cares about them. 
• Weller Elementary School (Springfield, MO)—Grant provides funding for a book for each student at Weller Elementary School which they read with staff and parents and add to their home libraries.
• Ruder Elementary (Kalispell, MT)—Grant provides funding for Google Chromebooks for four first grade classrooms to be used with reading programs in a school where many of the students don’t have access to computers or the internet at home.
• Evergreen School District (Kalispell, MT)— Grant supports the school’s fitness program designed to enhance the health and quality of life of its students, most of which are from low-income families.
• Cayuse Prairie School (Kalispell, MT)—Grant provides funding to purchase Chromebooks for the school.
• Navarro Elementary School (Ennis, TX)—Grant funds education curriculum, weighted blankets, special chairs and swings, and physical therapy equipment for program that provides services for students who receive special education services.
• Challenge Program, Morgantown High School (Morgantown, WV)— Grant funds financial incentives and provides volunteers for program that connects students (grades 10-12) to businesses introducing career opportunities in their communities.

• Morgantown Firefighters (Morgantown, WV)—Grant provides funding for the purchase of brand new winter coats for an outreach program targeted toward under-privileged children in elementary schools in the greater Morgantown area.
• Fredricton Greener Village (Fredricton, NB, Canada)— Grant provides funding to purchase non-perishable goods needed to fill monthly hampers intended to support families of four for a month.
• Joe Wilderness Adventure Blog (Cornwall, ON, Canada)—Grant provides funding for backpacks full of gear for children in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cornwall to encourage them to spend more time in the outdoors hiking and camping.
• The Depot Community Food Centre (Montreal, QC, Canada)—Grant provides funding for an after-school workshop series where students in Grade 5 and 6 learn basic cooking skills, concepts in nutrition and health and prepare their own meal to take home.

Asia Pac
• Malanday Elementary School (Araneta, Philippines)—Grant funds activity sheets and workbooks for school that has a great need to develop literacy skills in its students.
• International Youth Fellowship (IYF) (Aseana, Philippines)—Grant funds “Mind Education Campus Tour” program that teaches youth how to have a strong mind and heart.
• Marrick Elementary School (Cainta, Philippines)—Grant funds materials for construction of a fully functional area for mealtimes for school that has a feeding program for undernourished children.
• Balabag Elementary School (Dumaguete, Philippines)—Grant funds Smart TVs to facilitate audio visual learning and latex paint to repaint several classrooms.
• Caidiocan Elementary School (Dumaguete, Philippines)—Grant funds materials for construction and repair of school grounds and multi-purpose hall/area. 
• Col. Pedro Pasia Memorial School (Lipa, Philippines)—Grant funds LED TVs, photocopier machines, sports equipment and a sound system.
• Sangguniang Kabataan Anabu 1-F (MBT, Philippines)—Grant funds school supplies and feeding program for students age 9-12.
• Virlanie Foundation (MBT, Philippines)—Grant funds intervention programs for a child-caring institution that empowers the abandoned, abused, exploited, neglected, orphaned, and those among the poorest of the poor.
• Dona Rosario Elementary School (Novaliches, Philippines)—Grant provides funding for renovation of the Science Laboratory Room, repainting/installation of air conditioning units, replacement of broken windows, installation of new light fixtures, the purchase of Science Lab equipment and materials and the purchase of SMART televisions sets.
• Apolinario Mabini Elementary School (Novaliches, Philippines)—Grant provides funding for printers, ink, copy paper, a projector, educational books and two laptops.
• Dila Elementary School (Sta. Rosa, Philippines)—Grant funds equipment for the school’s speech laboratory and projectors and projector screens for their classrooms to help facilitate learning.
• JCI Perlas (Two E-Com, Philippines)—Grant funds Project #FILLS: Feed-A-Kid Program that provides warm, nutritious meals to 130 indigent and severely wasted young students.
• New Corella Association of Persons with Disabilities (Philippines)—Grant funds operational cost of making slippers crafted by Persons with Disabilities artisans that are then donated to impoverished children who can't afford their own footwear.
