When the pandemic hit last year, shifting from working onsite to working from home was challenging for many across the globe. Remember all the adjustments you had to make? From setting up your work corner to getting the right tools to make your remote working a comfortable one... it wasn’t a walk in the park for most people. And now, imagine having to do that for 43,000 colleagues across the globe in less than three weeks. Was that even possible? Yes, and TTEC's very own Chief Information Officer, Chandra Venkataramani, recipient of the 2021 Colorado CIO of the Year® ORBIE® Award in the Global category from ColoradoCIO, in partnership with the Denver Business Journal showed us the way.
This a huge feat not only for Chandra but also for the whole TTEC community. CNN Business reported how Chandra led the transformation of shifting thousands of TTEC employees to work-from-home within weeks due to the pandemic and coordination among clients to make that happen.
TTEC CEO Ken Tuchman shared how important employees' safety and business continuity is for the company. Our TTEC team worked hand in hand, with Chandra right at the helm, with procurement and vendors to create solutions to manage the massive transformation. "This is very much a team effort and I'm proud to lead some of the brightest minds in the industry. This award reflects the overall success of TTEC and represents the spirit of innovation that is alive throughout TTEC," Chandra shared.
For more than 20 years, the CIO ORBIE® Awards have recognized technology executives for leadership, innovation and excellence in this rapidly growing, CIO-led national professional association. The Colorado CIO of the Year® ORBIE® Awards honors chief information officers who have proven excellence in technology leadership.
Congratulations to our CIO, Chandra Venkataramani, for bringing more pride to our TTEC family. Share the great news with your network!
